Xtreme Fighter, also known as Sci-Fighter, is a 2004 science fiction action film directed by Art Camacho from a script by Thomas Callicoat, with fight choreography by Eric Lee. Don "The Dragon" Wilson stars, with Cynthia Rothrock, Lorenzo Lamas, Aki Aleong and Chris Casamassa.
It is a reunion of familiar faces from 1990s video-store action.
A well-meaning genius creates a virtual-reality fighting game, and a computer virus leaves his grandson trapped inside it. The boy's father enters the game to fight his way through the virus and bring his son home before they are both trapped for good. Each level brings a new opponent, which gives the cast plenty of chances to fight.
Is it the same film as Sci-Fighter? Yes. It has also been released as Sci-Fi Fighter.
Is it suitable for younger viewers? The BBFC rated a 2004 UK release 15 for moderate violence.
