About Our DVDs
Know what is on your shelf before you order. Cinema Kung Fu supplies made-to-order DVD-R editions of martial arts films, with the edition details shown on each product page.
Disc type: DVD-R, a recordable disc rather than a factory-pressed DVD.
Video standard: NTSC.
Region: Region-free. Your equipment must still support DVD-R and NTSC playback.
What you receive
Standard packaging includes a keepcase, DVD cover art and artwork on the disc. Cover artwork may vary. Check the individual listing for the films included, disc count and any packaging exceptions.
Will it play on my equipment?
Your player must support both DVD-R discs and the NTSC video standard. Region-free removes the region restriction; it does not guarantee compatibility with every device.
Computer playback also depends on the disc drive and playback software. If you are unsure, check your equipment specifications or ask us before ordering.
Picture and sound quality
Quality varies by title and source material. Older films may have image or sound limitations. Read the picture-quality notes and watch the video sample when one is available on the product page.
Do not assume an edition is restored, remastered or in HD unless the listing specifically says so.
Audio, subtitles and versions
DVDs with Cantonese or Mandarin audio include English subtitles. For English-dubbed editions, check the product description: if subtitles are not listed, none are included. Where the available audio varies or is not confirmed, ask us which version is supplied before ordering.
Listed subtitles may be optional or always on. A film can also have different cuts and alternate titles. Compare the year, cast and edition notes to make sure you have found the version you want.
Menus, chapters and extras
Only expect extras specifically identified in the listing. Menus, chapters, trailers, inserts and special features are not implied by a film being available on DVD.
Film references and DVD details
IMDb and other film references describe the film and may cover a different release. The product page’s edition facts describe the DVD offered here. A reference runtime or original language is not a guarantee of the cut or audio on the supplied disc.
“Not confirmed” means that detail has not been clearly established for the edition. Please ask about any detail that matters to your purchase.
Processing and replacements
Orders normally ship in 1–7 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Delivery time is additional.
